GOCON Consulting was established by Gary O'Connor and Gaetano Nardini in 2000. 

Gary is a qualified Architectural Engineer and Facade Engineer graduated from London South Bank University and Bath University and a back ground of 30 years in the Stone industry. Gary's family have been stonemasons, manufacturers and contractors since 1960's.

Gaetano is a qualified Civil Engineer, graduated from Pisa University, where he is also lectures in Architectural Engineering.

Gary and Gaetano first collaborated on a unique facade project in London.

 The concept by KPF architects involved complex pre stressed stone arches which were required to be self supporting, support the RC structure and Curtainwall facade to above it.

It was a local planning authority requirement that the stone aches be structural.

Prior to Gary and Gaetano's involvement with the project it had been on hold for many months with a real risk that the entire development may not proceed.

Industry, consultants and institutes had all declined the project, stating that the design concept was impossible to be realised.

Gary and Gaetano studied the concept and developed a plan which they believed would be technically and practically possible.

Following their structural analysis and 3D design and methodology, they supervised all aspects of manufacture, post tensioning and installation.

It would be their first of many innovative projects and product development.

Gary and Gaetano have built an exceptional multi disciplinary team over the last twenty years with extensive knowledge, experience and contacts.
